Eclectus parrots are medium sized, colorful, talking parrots. They love spending time with people, and unlike many parrot species, ekkies tend to get along well with an entire family instead of bonding to just one person.

There are quite a few different subspecies of eclectus parrots. Each of the subspecies is a different size, has a slightly different personality, and has a different color pattern for the female. We currently breed Vosmaeris and Solomon Islands, but we hope at some point in the future to expand to include all four of the subspecies commonly owned in the US.

Charlie

Violet

Charlie is the fatherly figure. He's very observant and protective of the other birds. Charlie is a Vosmaeri eclectus.

Jack

Violet is our sweetheart. She's careful and quiet and quite dainty. Violet is a Vosmaeri eclectus.

Anna-Marie

Jack is my playful little man. He's a bit of a mischief maker, but is so sweet, it's impossible not to love him. Jack is a Solomon Island eclectus

Anna-Marie was named after the pirate that slapped Jack Sparrow in the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. She fits her name well, as she doesn’t put up with the antics of even our largest bird, Charlie. Anna is a Solomon Island eclectus.
